Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen announced a heavily changed line-up to face Burnley at Turf Moor in the League Cup on Tuesday night.

Leeds lost their unbeaten record against Millwall at the New Den on Saturday, and Christiansen is using tonight’s game to give some stars a rest and fringe stars a run-out.

The team news was announced on the official Leeds Twitter page ahead of the 7.45pm kick-off.

The tie is a great opportunity for Leeds to test themselves out against Premier League opposition, although Sean Dyche has also named a changed line-up, making the online bets market very interesting.

Former Leeds striker Chris Wood doesn’t start, but there is a spot in the starting XI for Charlie Taylor after he moved from Elland Road this summer.

It’s a rare chance for Taylor to prove he can hack it in the Burnley team after he was left out of their last two Premier League squads.

It’s unlikely he’ll get a warm reception from the Leeds faithful after the manner of his departure from the Yorkshire club.

There’s a spot for Wood on the bench, so he may get to go up against his former teammates.
