Dembele was off the pace

Mauricio Pochettino had a decision as to whether to include Mousa Dembele from the off.

The midfielder only played a 20-minute cameo against Everton and still looked off the pace tonight.

He struggled to retain any sort of possession and it contributed to his team only enjoying 33% of possession in the first half.

He was better in the second half – the whole team was – but the foot injury from last season is still obviously bothering him.

For Tottenham’s sake, he needs to get back to full fitness soon as he’s a vital part of their strength and dominance.
