Kyle Walker-Peters has been handed his Tottenham debut against Newcastle – and the club’s supporters are thrilled on Twitter to see him included in the starting line-up.
The 20-year-old defender has received a huge boost from manager Mauricio Pochettino as he makes his competitive debut in the Premier League.
He has been called into action as first-choice right-back Kieran Trippier has been ruled out through injury.
Walker-Peters will slot into the back four and have the experienced centre-back combination of Jan Vertonghen and Toby Alderweireld alongside him.
The Spurs academy graduate will hope to make a strong impression on his first chance in the senior set-up and the club’s fans are delighted on social media to see him make his debut.

Spurs will be hoping they can lay down an early marker in the title race against Newcastle and have shown incredible faith in their academy starlet.
Walker-Peters will hope to be the latest player to rise from the youth team into the senior one, with Harry Kane and Harry Winks shinning examples in recent years.
The right-back may not have no experience at senior level, but he did prove himself this summer as England’s Under-20s won the World Cup.
The versatile defender is most recognised as a right-back and will hope to stake his claim for the position going into the new campaign.
Spurs did lost Kyle Walker to Manchester City this summer in a £50million-plus deal, leaving a vacant spot at full-back for Trippier and Walker-Peters to compete for.
