Dream signing: Ben Gibson
Gibson was in emphatic form for Middlesbrough last season that saw him come within a whisker of earning an England call-up, but instead suffered relegation with the Teesside club.
Now, the Boro captain has been repeatedly reported as interesting plenty of Premier League clubs, but Bleacher Report transfer expert Dean Jones has claimed on his personal Twitter account that Boro are confident he will sign a new contract.
It is said that Gibson’s departure would take an “unbelievable offer” for the 24-year-old to leave the Riverside Stadium this summer.

However, Everton should look to give Gibson a chance to shine back in the Premier League by accepting Everton’s valuation of the 24-year-old, and tabling an offer that Middlesbrough simply cannot refuse.
