Stoke forward Joselu is reportedly set to undergo a medical at Newcastle – and the club’s supporters are divided on Twitter about whether he would be a good signing or not.
Sky Sports correspondent Keith Downie has revealed on his personal Twitter account that the 27-year-old has arrived on Tyneside for his imminent medical.
It is understood that the Magpies have agreed a deal worth around £5million with Stoke for the striker.

Joselu is fairly unknown to most English audiences and endured a quiet campaign with Stoke in the 2015/16 campaign, before spending last season out on loan at Deportivo.
Newcastle fans are split on the potential arrival of the Spaniard as some are putting faith in manager Rafael Benitez, while others want the club to be signing more high-profile names.

Joselu is the kind of striker #NUFC need. Disciplined, good in the air and decent link up play.

Joselu could be ideal for us. Big, strong striker who's also mobile and good on the ball. Much needed #nufc

I don't think I could be less enthused at the thought of signing Kenedy and Joselu. Proper bargain basement stuff. Depressing. #nufc

Joselu has enjoyed a strong pre-season for Stoke and shown he can be prolific in front of goal, but looks set to be heading to St James’ Park.
The target man, who is recognised for his strong hold up play, has scored just four goals during his 22 Premier League appearances.
He spent last season on loan with Spanish outfit Deportivo and managed six goals in his 24 appearances, which included a brace against Real Madrid.
Joselu will face competition from the likes of Dwight Gayle, Aleksandar Mitrovic and Ayoze Perez to lead the Newcastle frontline, but they are on the search for more goals in their side after a 2-0 Premier League opening day defeat to Tottenham.
The Magpies are yet to really break the bank in the transfer market and look like pulling off another shrew piece of business by signing an out-of-favour Stoke forward.
