Idrissa Gueye (Holding midfield) – Gueye’s performances have seen him linked with Chelsea in recent days, and he is now the man Koeman must build his side around. He should start against Hajduk Split.

Tom Davies (Centre midfield) – Another impressive performance against Man City has seen the teenage midfielder’s reputation continue to improve. Adding quality in both attack and defence, he will surely start on Thursday.

Morgan Schneiderlin (Centre midfield) – France international Schneiderlin picked up a red card against City and he will be suspended for Sunday’s clash against Chelsea. That should him start on Thursday, to keep his game time ticking over.
