Goalkeeper and defenders

Jordan Pickford (Goalkeeper) – Former Sunderland goalkeeper Pickford has impressed in an Everton shirt so far, keeping four clean sheets in five games and must start once again.

Right-back (Mason Holgate) – Youngster Holgate was mightily impressive against Man City and he should keep Cuco Martina out of the side on Thursday night.

Ashley Williams (Centre-back) – Wales international Williams was taken off just after the hour mark as Koeman changed his formation, and with that rest he should start to give Phil Jagielka some much-needed time off.

Michael Keane (Centre-back) – Keane has continued to shine for Everton and even found the back of the net in the first leg. He is now first choice at the heart of the defence and must start to keep the Croatians at bay.

Leighton Baines (Left-back) – One of the first names on the team sheet, England international Baines has little competition on the left side of defence and is almost a dead cert to start on Thursday night.
