Ronald Koeman has plenty of decisions to make ahead of Everton’s Europa League play-off clash against Hajduk Split on Thursday night.

The Toffees face a difficult trip to the Etihad on Monday night just four days after Thursday’s clash to face Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City, and may need to rest a number of senior stars.

Everton come into the match on the back of a 1-0 win over Stoke in their first Premier League match of the season, with Wayne Rooney scoring his first Everton goal since returning to the club this summer.

Koeman reverted his side to a 4-2-3-1 at half-time after the starting the match with a back three and the tactical alteration worked. It is likely to see the Dutchman start with a back four against the Croatian outfit.
