Steve Bruce should look to reshuffle his Aston Villa line-up ahead of Tuesday night’s clash away at Reading after being outplayed by Cardiff City on the weekend.

Villa were battered 3-0 by Neil Warnock’s side, as the Midlands giants struggled to cope with the Bluebirds’ exciting winger Nathaniel Mendez-Laing on Saturday at the Cardiff City Stadium.

It is likely to see Bruce drop a number of his first-team stars, even though he has Jack Grealish still sidelined with a long-term kidney injury while Mile Jedinak and Jonathan Kodjia will also miss the clash against the Royals.

Bruce will know his side could be about to suffer a second consecutive defeat against Jaap Stam’s side, with the last meetings between the two teams ending in a 3-1 defeat to Reading back in April.
