Celtic continued their perfect start in the Scottish Premiership with a 2-0 victory over Lee McCulloch’s Kilmarnock at Rugby Park.

Brendan Rodgers fielded a severely weakened side in order to keep a number of first-team stars fresh for the second leg of Celtic’s Champions League tie on Tuesday night.

The likes of Anthony Ralston, Kristoffer Ajer, Calvin Miller and Kundai Benyu all started as the Hoops earned a comfortable victory.

Celtic took the lead through Tom Rogic as he danced his way through the Kilmarnock defence before cutting back for James Forrest to finish well.

Rogic then added another assist as he broke through the midfield before chipping a delightful through ball into the path of Callum McGregor who finished calmly.

It sees Rodgers continue his perfect start to life in the top tier of Scottish football with the Hoops now winning their opening three matches, beating Hearts and Partick to sit at the top of the table already.

This Is FutbolĀ rates the Celtic players out of 10 from their win against Kilmarnock, including a 24-year-old who provided the creativity in a Hoops side while another attacker struggled with only 5/10:
