West Ham are being linked with another Premier League forward with the club said to be eyeing a move for West Brom striker Salomon Rondon, according to the Express and Star.

So far this summer the Hammers have been heavily linked with Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud, Burnley’s Andre Gray and Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho.

However, the east Londoners have been unable to announce any of the three so far and they could now be casting their net further and looking at such players as Rondon.

But, the Express and Star also report that West Brom would be unwilling to allow the 62-time Venezuela international leave this summer with Tony Pulis’ squad slim on front men.

It is also detailed that the Baggies rejected a huge £32million in the winter window from Chinese Super League side Tianjin Quanjian.

The powerful striker, who suits Pulis’ game plan to a tee managed a return of eight goals in 38 Premier League matches for the Midlands club, while also providing two assists.

He also has two years remaining on his contract at the Hawthorns and West Ham may find it difficult to bring in the Venezuelan if they act on their reported interest.
