Everton striker target Loic Remy will be allowed to leave Chelsea once the London-based club sort out his replacement, according to Sky Sports.

The popular broadcasters have detailed on their live transfer blog (Tuesday 11.34am) that the 30-year-old forward is attracting interest from the Toffees as well as French clubs Lille and Marseille.

The claim follows reports from Sky Sports on Sunday that the Stamford Bridge club had decided to sell him, but there was no mention that interested parties would have to wait until they secured a signing themselves.

It is said that Chelsea are also setting their goals high on their next striker with Sky Sports also claiming that Manchester City’s Sergio Aguero said to be strongly interesting the Blues, while Borussia Dortmund’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Everton, meanwhile are on the hunt for a new forward themselves following the departure of star Romelu Lukaku to Manchester United earlier in the month for a mega-deal worth an initial £75million.

They have already added Sandro Ramirez and Wayne Rooney to their squad in a busy summer for the Toffees and someone like Remy, who has scored 28 goals in 79 Premier League appearances for each of QPR, Newcastle, Chelsea and Crystal Palace could follow through the Goodison Park doors.
