Nuno hopes to have Neves and Boly available in Austria

Summer appointment Nuno Espirito Santo hopes to have Porto duo Ruben Neves and Willy Boly signed and available for Wolves for their pre-season training camp in Austria, according to Sky Sports.

The popular broadcasters have detailed on their live transfer blog (Wednesday, 09.33am) that the Midlands club are hoping to sign up pair soon as they depart for the camp on Monday.

Neves, 20, would be an extraordinary capture for the side and it is detailed that Wolves will smash their transfer record for the midfield enforcer and that he is “expected” to sign for a fee of around £15million in the next week.

Meanwhile, Boly’s deal is said to be a loan move and the 26-year-old centre-back, who also played for Porto in the Champions League last season would be another good addition for the Championship club.

Nuno himself was appointed Wolves boss earlier earlier in the summer following the controversial departure of Scotsman Paul Lambert after he kept the club up.

However, if the ex-Porto man uses his contacts and knowledge to capture players such as Neves and Boly for the club then it could work out to be a very smart piece of business.

Young star Neves has even been capped twice by the senior Portugal national team at his age, while also being linked to some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs and he made 18 appearances for Porto in all competitions last season.

He also became the youngest player to start as captain in the Champions League back in 2015 at just 18 years and 221 days of age.
