OPINION

Rangers’ signing of Graham Dorrans from Norwich earlier this week should spark manager Pedro Caixinha into a midfield transfer exodus from Ibrox.

The 54-time Scottish champions confirmed on their official website that 30-year-old Dorrans has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Caixinha’s Gers, becoming their ninth summer signing.

Scotland international Dorrans follows Bruno Alves, Fabio Cardoso, Ryan Jack, Carlos Pena, Daniel Candeias, Dalcio, Eduardo Herrera and Alfredo Morelos in joining the club this summer.

Caixinha already had an abundance of midfield talent available to him but has since signed Dorrans as well as Jack and Pena, which has forced Andy Halliday to move on loan to Azerbaijan outfit FC Gabala.

Now, This Is Futbol considers another five Rangers midfielders that are likely to be considering their future at Ibrox as Caixinha’s transfer revolution begins to take shape.
