Chelsea ace Kurt Zouma has been pictured at Stoke City’s training ground ahead of potentially completing a loan switch.

The Independent featured a tweet from fan account @StokeLoudProud which appeared to show the 22-year-old centre-back in a full Stoke training kit on the newspaper’s transfers live blog on Monday (12.10pm).

The message on Twitter read: “Guess who’s here. #Zouma.”

The newspaper then added on its transfer live blog that Zouma was expected to join the Potters on loan.

This comes after the London Evening Standard reported last week that the French defender had been granted permission by Chelsea to pursue a season-long loan move away from the club.

It was said that Stoke and West Bromwich Albion were among the teams ready to hold talks with the 22-year-old over a potential move.

The report also stated that Blues manager Antonio Conte was keen to send Zouma away on loan to get some regular first team football under his belt.

The Frenchman missed the majority of the 2016-17 campaign season through injury, but he still managed to make 13 appearances across all competitions for west London club.

He arrived at Stamford Bridge in January 2014 in a £12million switch from Saint Etienne, and he has since played 71 league and cup games for the club.
