OPINION

West Ham United should seriously consider bringing Leicester City striker Islam Slimani to the London Stadium next season.

The Daily Mirror recently reported that the Foxes are willing to offload the 29-year-old this summer as they are on the verge of completing a deal for Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.

The newspaper reports that a loan move to Portuguese outfit Sporting Lisbon is on the cards for the Algerian but the Hammers should attempt to lure the striker to East London for the upcoming campaign.

It is said that Leicester would like to receive an offer close to the £29million they paid to land Slimani last year but this should not prevent West Ham from making a move.

The Algerian’s current contract at the King Power Stadium runs out in 2021.

Now, This Is Futbol believes that Slimani’s arrival to the East London next season could further enhance West Ham’s chances of finishing the European places next season.
