West Bromwich Albion have made an enquiry into Arsenal ace Kieran Gibbs’ availability, according to a Daily Mail report.

The newspaper claims in a report on its website that the Gunners are keen to offload the 27-year-old left-back this summer and are taking offers from a number of clubs on board.

It is said the Baggies are the latest Premier League club to table an interest in the England international, but they are currently unwilling to meet his £12million asking price.

The report states that Newcastle and Watford are also interested in Gibbs, who has just one year left on his deal at the Emirates.

Gibbs spent much of the 2016-17 campaign on the fringes as other options were preferred by Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, and he only played 22 league and cup games.

He joined the north London club’s academy in 2004 from MK Dons and subsequently broke into the first team in the summer of 2007.

The left-back has since amassed 229 appearances across all competitions for the club, which have yielded 25 assists.

The report claims that Arsenal want to raise some funds for the club, following the purchase of Alexandre Lacazette for a club-record fee, and Gibbs is one of the players Wenger is ready to give the boot.

Gibbs has been capped by England on 10 occasions, but he has not featured since the 2-0 friendly win over France in November 2015.
