Tottenham would be making one massive statement if they managed to sign up Torino’s mercurial striker Belotti, who could be good enough to force Kane out of Pochettino’s first-team plans. Italian news outlet Calcio Mercato has reported that AC Milan are keen on signing the 23-year-old, who has a stunning £87.5million release clause tied into his contract. It’s very unlikely that Torino would force clubs to offer as high as that, especially when they are one of Serie A’s lesser sides and could really do with a quick buck to strengthen their squad all over. Belotti has the ability to play on the wing or in a more reserved attacking midfielder role, so if Spurs were to hijack Milan’s move for him they would be on for a proven top-flight goal scorer with bags of versatility.
