Italian news outlet Tutto Sport has recently reported that Juventus may be willing to back out a £26.2million deal to sign up Sampdoria striker Schick. It is claimed that the 21-year-old could fail a medical ahead of a move to the Serie A champions because of a worry about an issue with his heart. The ever-busy Everton are said to be waiting in the wings to snap up the Czech international, but Pochettino should also try to lure him to north London. Tottenham are crying out for a capable back-up to Kane and Vincent Janssen’s transfer from AZ Alkmaar last season has pretty much proved fruitless. Schick has a real ability of finding the net after coming off the bench, and that would suit Spurs’ needs perfectly.
