Manchester City’s French midfielder Olivier Ntcham has been photographed in Glasgow ahead of his proposed move to Celtic.

The Daily Record posted a picture of the 21-year-old in the Scottish city on their website, which can be seen on the Sunday Mail’s Twitter account:

The central midfielder was reported by the Daily Mail to have undergone a medical on Saturday evening and is said to be on the verge of agreeing a deal to head north of the border.

According to the Scottish Sun, the Hoops had been planning to make a £4million swoop for the French Under-21 international and it appears that they have managed to secure a deal for their top target.

Despite being contracted to the Premier League side, attack minded Ntcham has spent the last two seasons on loan to Italian side Genoa in order to gain first team experience and aid his development.

He was give a good run in the first team, making 41 appearances, scoring three goals and chipping in with two assists across all competitions, and his form appears to have impressed Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers.

His arrival will be the third signing for the Northern Irish manager this summer, having already brought in Aberdeen’s Jonny Hayes and Ipswich’s Kundai Benyu.

He has also got international experience with France, having appeared at every youth level possible, including two appearances for the Under-21s.
