New Manchester United signing Romelu Lukaku sent the club’s fans absolutely wild on social media after scoring his first ever goal for the club in a pre-season friendly against Real Salt Lake.
The 24-year-old scored in only his second game for the Manchester giants as United picked up a second consecutive pre-season tour victory in the United States on Tuesday morning.
Jose Mourinho’s men beat the American side 2-1 and the Belgian scored the winning goal in the first-half.
United fell behind early on in the game but Henrikh Mkhitaryan levelled the score before providing an important assist for his new teammate minutes later.
Supporters from the red half of Manchester were quick to react on social media and express their excitement in watching Lukaku get on the scoresheet for the first time with the club.

United fans will be hopeful that Lukaku can continue to deliver the goods for the club ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
The Belgian striker is likely to be involved in the pre-season Manchester derby in Houston in the early hours of Friday morning.
Lukaku produced some impressive performances against Manchester City last season, notching up two goals in two matches against them in the Premier League.
