Manchester United came out on top in the second match of their pre-season tour of the United States with a hard fought 2-1 win over Real Salt Lake.

The Red Devils went behind at the Rio Tinto Stadium in Utah as Real’s Luis Silva opened the scoring after 23 minutes, slotting home past Joel Pereira.

However, United struck back twice through Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Romelu Lukaku to take a 2-1 lead into the break.

The Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho named 11 changes at half-time as he opted to give his whole squad a run-out.

His changes failed to prove fruitful as just 12 minutes into the second period Antonio Valencia saw red for a late challenge on Salt Lake’s Sebastian Saucedo, and Juan Mata hobbled off shortly after.

But despite that the hosts failed to find an equaliser in the second-half, and Mourinho’s side held on to secure a 2-1 win.

Here, This is Futbol analyses the performances of all 24 of United’s players in the victory at the Rio Tinto Stadium:
