With Sky Sports news recently reporting that Chelsea are interested in recruiting Manchester City star Sergio Aguero, Pep Guardiola must now take the steps to ensure that he holds on to his goal machine.

Losing the 29-year-old forward could prove disastrous to the the Manchester giants’ Premier League title hopes for the upcoming season for a number of reasons.

Aguero joined Man City from La Liga outfit Atletico Madrid for a £31 million fee, and has a further two years remaining with the club as his contract expires in 2019.

Since moving to the Etihad the 82-capped Argentina international has had an impressive impact on the club and made a total of 253 appearances across all competitions.

If the Argentinian striker joined Chelsea it could ruin City’s dreams of winning the top flight title again.
