Joshua King unsure over Tottenham move

Bournemouth striker Joshua King is unsure about moving to fellow Premier League side Tottenham next season, according to the Sun.

This follows up from the story in the Telegraph which reported that the North London club are willing to offer “big money” in order to secure the signature of the 25-year-old this summer.

Everton are reportedly also keeping tabs on the Bournemouth man as they look set to lose striker Romelu Lukaku this summer.

The newspaper claims that the striker is not keen on being the second-choice to Spurs talisman Harry Kane next season.

The report claims that King is determined to stay with the Cherries as he will be guaranteed first-team football at the club which will help enhance his development as a footballer.

The Sun reports that Spurs are keen to add some pace to the forward line next season along with easing the pressure off top marksman Harry Kane, and they believe that King would be the perfect fit.

Vincent Janssen was the back-up striker for Spurs last season but he failed to live up to expectations as he only managed to score two Premier League goals.

King enjoyed his best campaign in front of goal last season as he finished as the club’s top goalscorer with 16 Premier League strikes to his name.

The striker’s contract at Vitality Stadium expires in 2020 and he is reportedly valued at £25million.
