Championship side Fulham have come to an agreement with Liverpool for the loan signing of Sheyi Ojo, according to Sky Sports News HQ.

The sports broadcaster report on the live transfer blog on their website (13:43) that the 20-year old now has the choice of the Cottagers, Middlesbrough or Newcastle as his potential destination for the upcoming season.

The news comes just a day after the Chronicle reported that the Magpies had also tabled a loan bid for the young attacker, rather than the £10million permanent transfer that was claimed by the Sun.

Newcastle currently only have Matt Ritchie, Christian Atsu and Rolando Aarons as the options down the flanks, although that could be set to change soon, with winger Jacob Murphy set to have a medical on Tuesday ahead of a reported £12million move.

However, despite the Norwich man’s imminent arrival, manager Rafael Benitez is said to be keen on securing at least two new options out wide this summer.

Ojo, a versatile winger who can operate on either flank, already has 13 Liverpool appearances to his name, although he managed just two last season, both coming in the FA Cup.

His last run of first team football came in the first half of the 2015/16 season, when he turned out 19 times across all competitions during a loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers.

He is also an England Under-20 international, and returned to Anfield this summer as a World Cup winner, having played in five of the Young Lions’ seven games on the way to their Under-20 World Cup success.
