Conte plots double swoop for Lukaku and Alli

|

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte is prepared to splash the cash in order to land Premier League duo Romelu Lukaku and Dele Alli this summer, according to Don Balon.

The Spanish outlet claims that the Italian manager wants to maintain the squad which stormed to the league title last season with the exception of talisman Diego Costa.

It is reported that Conte has already informed the striker that he is no longer required at Stamford Bridge for the upcoming campaign.

The report claims that Italian is determined to add more quality to the team and he has specifically narrowed down his transfer shortlist to two superstars in Everton’s Lukaku and Tottenham’s Alli, who he believes are the perfect candidates to come in and take the club to the next level.

Don Balon reports that the Chelsea boss is prepared to spend around £88million for each player during the summer transfer window.

This is not the first time that Lukaku has been linked with a move back to West London as the Express recently reported that the Blues had launched a £70million to Everton for the 24-year-old.

Both players would certainly add goals to the Chelsea side as Lukaku notched up 25 league goals last season whilst Alli managed to score 22 goals in all competitions for Spurs.

Lukaku’s contract at Goodison Park runs out in 2019 whereas Alli still has five years remaining on his current deal with Tottenham.
