It is possible that Ekuban could be making his debut with the club as soon as Wednesday, as the Whites face domestic club North Ferriby United in a friendly match.
The Ghanaian is the club’s seventh signing during the summer transfer window following Mateusz Klich, Vurnon Anita, Madger Gomes, Felix Wiedwald, Pontus Jansson and Hadi Sacko, as new boss Thomas Christiansen is trying to bolster his squad as much as possible ready for the club’s 2017/18 Championship campaign, with the hope of promotion to the top flight in sight.
