Leeds United have confirmed that the club have signed winger Ezgjan Alioski from FC Lugano in a four-year-deal for an undisclosed fee.

The Yorkshire club announced the newest signing on the club’s official Twitter account on Thursday evening with a short video of the 25-year-old.

Within the video, the camera starts by showing the Macedonian’s feet before slowly revealing his face where the newest addition to said a message to fans.

The Macedonia international pumped his fist to his chest and said ‘mot’, the club’s motto, which means ‘marching on together’.

The Championship side said they were thrilled to announce the arrival of the wide forward.

The new Leeds member initially joined his former club, Lugano, from Schaffhausen after spending half a season on loan with the Swiss club before he moved permanently last summer.

During his first complete season with the club, Alioski made an impressive impact as he scored 17 goals and provided 14 assists throughout his 36 appearances in all competitions.

The Macedonia international also became the Swiss outfit’s top goal scorer and was the third highest throughout all of the Swiss Super League.

Thomas Christiansen has made Alioski the club’s ninth signing of the summer transfer window, as he hopes to bolster the squad ahead of their battle from promotion next season.
