Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts on Jonny Hayes after the club confirmed the part-exchange deal for the Aberdeen midfielder on Saturday.
The club made the announcement on their official website at the weekend, and on Monday the treble winners confirmed on their Twitter account that Hayes would be sporting the number 15 jersey next season.

The Irishman will take over the shirt number from midfielder Kris Commons, who made an exit from Parkhead this summer.
The new signing is set to be included in the Bhoys’ Champions League squad after he completed his three-year-deal with the Glaswegian club for £1.3million over the weekend.
Most fans were delighted with the new signing, although some compared him unfavourably to Patrick Roberts.
This is Futbol has gathered the best fan reactions:
I'm happy enough with Hayes. Best SPL player outwith Celtic last season arguably. Straight replacement for GMS. The rest is up to him.

Johnny Hayes is a great signing an Irish international. If Celtic had signed him from a club down south people would be raving about him ????

I'm delighted we signed Hayes! Roberts is a class player but realistically, we can't get him! Hayes is unstoppable at the counter! #celtic

Excellent addition to the squad, dreaded seeing Hayes on their team sheet. By far the best player outwith Celtic in the league last season.

Watching Jonny Hayes will be like going to see a Patrick Roberts tribute band when you can't afford tickets for the real thing, Celtic

With the first Champions League qualifier less than a month away fans will be glad to see boss Brendan Rodgers strengthen the attacking prowess of the club.
Most fans were delighted with the deal, saying that Hayes is the best SPL player not playing for Celtic, although others haver reserved judgement, and would have preferred a deal for Patrick Roberts instead.
Roberts joined Celtic on loan from Manchester City in February 2016 and spent 18 months at Parkhead, where the 20-year-old helped clinch the domestic treble after he provided 11 goals and 19 assists during his 47 appearances for the club.
