Chelsea forward Michy Batshuayi is Ronald Koeman’s top choice to replace Everton star Romelu Lukaku, according to TeamTalk.

The sports news outlet has claimed that the Toffees have told Chelsea they would like the 23-year-old Belgian as part of any deal that would see Lukaku return to the London club.

It is detailed that the two Premier League clubs have been in talks for weeks over a deal with Lukaku and Everton are wanting £100million for their star, while Chelsea are only looking to go as high as £80million.

But, Antonio Conte’s men are also said to be more than happy to include Batshuayi in their deal after struggling to break into the Premier League champions’ first team following his summer move last year.

However, it is also stated that Monaco are interested in Batshuayi and it is detailed that he would prefer a return to France, if given the option.

The Brussel’s-born hitman joined Chelsea from Marseille last summer in a huge £31.5million deal.

He played just 20 times for Conte’s men in the Premier League, starting just one of those matches which came in the penultimate 4-3 win over Watford.

In those matches he returned just five goals in the league, while Lukaku finished the season as the league’s second highest top scorer with 25 strikes from 37 matches.
