Midfielder Alexandru Maxim has revealed that he will review his future and whether he will move clubs after his friend’s wedding over the summer, according to a Lattenkreuz report.

The player was a Leeds target and it was reported that the Whites were one of three clubs that had offers rejected by Stuttgart in the past two transfer windows.

Stuttgart’s No 10 was linked with Leeds United back in January after previous manager Garry Monk eyed the Romanian star.

However, with Monk’s resignation last week, any future move for the player would have to come from new management.

Talking to Lattenkreuz, Maxim revealed when he would be making a decision.

“I can’t say anything. First of all, I will travel to Romania and go to my friend’s wedding. After that, I will see if I will continue”.

His response will install promise that once the midfielder returns to Germany he could potentially still join the Championship side.

The aim for the Yorkshire side next season would be to continue the impressive campaign they made last season, finishing seventh and just missing out on the play-off spots.

While the 26-year old only scored five goals and contributed six assists in the Bundesliga 2 last season, he was part of the title-winning team, and his flexibility of playing on the right or left could prove tempting for Leeds.
