Thomas Christiansen would solve his left-back dilemma at Leeds with a move for Konyaspor ace Barry Doulglas as Wolves reportedly close in on a deal to sign the defender.

The Express & Star revealed that Wolves are now in pole position to complete a £1million move to sign the former Dundee United ace, after Celtic pulled out of the running to secure the services of the left-footed defender.

Wolves are likely to be busy in the summer transfer market after installing former Porto and Valencia manager Nuno Espirito Santo as their new boss, replacing Paul Lambert in the Molineux dugout.

However, Leeds should also look to sign the Scotland international after already completing two deals this summer for midfielder Mateusz Klich from FC Twente and a permanent move for Hadi Sacko from Sporting Lisbon.
