Three Mexico stars West Ham must watch against Russia in Confed Cup clash

Slaven Bilic needs to bolster his West Ham side in the upcoming transfer window and should keep a close eye on three of Mexico’s senior stars against Russia on Saturday afternoon.

The Confederations Cup enters its final round of group stage matches on Saturday afternoon, with Mexico taking on Russia while Portugal face New Zealand in Group A.

Hammers boss Bilic will be looking to add to his side this summer in order to put a dismal 2016-17 campaign behind him, which saw the east London outfit finish in 12th place – five places below their 2015-16 position.

West Ham suffered from a multitude of problems that saw them struggle throughout the season, suffering a number of injuries while the loss of Dimitri Payet and the move to the London Stadium also hindered their progress.

However, This Is Futbol believes the Hammers can forget about last season and push themselves into the top eight of the Premier League with three of Mexico’s Confederations Cup squad that will feature against the hosts on Saturday.
