Charlie Taylor looks set to end a season-long transfer saga by finally forcing a move away from Leeds to the Premier League, and Thomas Christiansen needs a replacement.

The 23-year-old’s current contract at Elland Road is set to expire in just six days, with the Yorkshire giants now resigned to losing 2015-16’s player of the year.

The Sun claim Burnley are looking to sneak past West Brom into pole position to lure Taylor to the top tier of English football, and believe they can secure a fee of £3million for the Whites academy product.

However, Leeds want closer to £5million as they look to recuperate as much money as possible for their highly-rated left-back in the coming months. A compensation figure will be settled at a tribunal if clubs cannot agree a fee.

This Is Futbol considers three goalscoring Championship left-backs that have the ability to replace Taylor, but are also within the grasp of Christiansen’s side ahead of the summer transfer window.
