Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will head into the summer transfer window, firstly hoping to keep hold of his best players then looking to sign some of Europe’s best players.

One underrated figure, the Argentine should look to sign is Stoke City winger Mark Arnautovic, who would do wonders for the London club.

The 28-year-old has the arrogance, strength and technical ability to perform for Pochettino and most importantly he is a much better player than Moussa Sissoko.

Arnautovic scored seven goals and supplied six assists for a Stoke team that finished in the bottom half of the Premier League table and struggled to score goals as a team this season.

Added with that, he can play on the left-hand side of attack, operate through the middle and play on the right, a perfect fit for Pochettino.

There is no doubt that he needs a step up in level and playing for a club like Spurs could see the best come out of the Austria international.

Those who would doubt whether or not he can deal with the huge pressures of playing for a Champions League club should look no further to the fact that he was part of an Inter Milan team that won the treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010.
