Tottenham have identified Paris Saint-Germain full-back Serge Aurier as a potential replacement for Kyle Walker, according to the Mirror.

The newspaper claim that the 24-year-old defender is set to consider his options this summer, and is attracting interest from the Premier League giants.

Aurier moved to the French club from Toulouse in 2015 for £7million, and has since been a regular member of the first-team, making 81 appearances in all competitions.

PSG have offered the Ivory Coast international a new contract, but the defender is understood to be keeping his options open, and Tottenham have been alerted to the situation.

Tottenham are seeking a summer replacement for current first-choice right-back Kyle Walker, who appears destined to quit the club in a mega-money deal in the coming months.

The 27-year-old has been attracting strong interest from Premier League rivals Manchester City, who have not been deterred by Tottenham’s staggering £60million valuation.

Sky Sports claimed on their official website earlier this week that City were closing in on the signing of Walker, and that a deal could be completed within the next two weeks.

Walker is currently on international duty with the England national team, meaning no transfer is likely to go ahead until his duties are fulfilled and he returns to Tottenham next week.

However, Tottenham have wasted little time in identifying potential replacements for Walker, with PSG man Aurier the latest candidate to emerge on Mauricio Pochettino’s shortlist.

Pochettino could also be set to hand Kieran Trippier an important role in the first-team squad after his impressive displays at the back-end of the 2016-17 season saw Walker dropped from the starting eleven.
