Mauricio Pochettino is set to enter the transfer market this summer to bolster Tottenham’s chances of Premier League glory and should keep a close eye on the Confederations Cup for talent.

Germany take on Australia in Monday afternoon’s Group B clash in Russia, after Joachim Low decided to name an inexperienced squad to represent the 2014 World Cup winners over the next month.

The Independent claimed last month that Spurs were interested in Borussia Dortmund defender Matthias Ginter with £15million reportedly enough to complete a deal for the versatile defender.

Ginter, a 10-time Germany international, is likely to be a key component of Low’s defence as they rival Cameroon, Chile and Australia in Group B.
