Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to criticise their club for letting Josh Harrop join Preston North End.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder will join Preston when his Old Trafford contract expires on 2 July, and he has put pen-to-paper on a four-year contract at Preston.
Preston announced the news on their official website and on their official Twitter account on Friday afternoon.

It is said Harrop turned down a contract extension offer from United, and instead opted to join Preston where first team opportunities will come more readily.
The Lancashire club will pay United a “significant” compensation fee, as the player is under the age of 24.
The 21-year-old attacking midfielder was United’s reserve team’s top scorer last term, as he scored 10 goals in 25 league and cup games, as reported by manutd.com.
United fans will always remember him for his debut goal against Crystal Palace on the final day of the 2016-17 season.
The Old Trafford faithful were angry to see Harrop leave, and many predicted that their club will buy him back for an enormous sum in the future.

Harrop broke into the Under-23s set up at the Red Devils in the summer of 2014, and he went on to represent the youth outfit 55 times.
He will join his former teammates Marnick Vermijl, Ben Pearson and Liam Grimshaw at Deepdale, when he completes his move.
