Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to share their delight at the news that Victor Lindelof will be joining the club from Benfica.
The Premier League giants have reached an agreement with Portugese club for the signing of the 22-year-old centre-back subject to a medical, international clearance and personal terms.
United announced the news on their official website on Saturday evening.

Lindelof is set to become the Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho’s first signing of the summer transfer window.
The no-nonsense centre-back was one of Benfica’s top performers last term, making 47 appearances in all competitions.
Lindelof’s only goal of the campaign came in a 1-1 league draw with Sporting Lisbon in April.
The 22-year-old joined the Portuguese giants from Swedish outfit Vasteras SK in the summer of 2012, and he went on to play 96 league and cup games for the club’s B team.
He then broke into the first team in July 2015, and has been a first choice centre-back for the club ever since, making 73 appearances in all competitions.
The Old Trafford faithful were delighted at the news Lindelof has agreed to sign, and some even compared him and his future teammate Eric Bailly, to Reds defensive partnership of old, Rio Ferdinand and Nemanja Vidic.

United finished sixth in the 2016/17 Premier League, and Mourinho is looking to strengthen his squad ahead of a serious title challenge next campaign.
Meanwhile, Lindelof won a domestic league and cup double with Benfica last term.
