Victor Lindelof has arrived in Manchester ahead of completing his £30million move from Benfica to Manchester United, according to a Daily Mail report.

The newspaper pictures the 22-year-old centre-back arriving at the club’s Carrington training ground on Wednesday morning.

It is said he will undergo his medical on Wednesday and meet the playing staff, and he could even be unveiled as a United player later that day.

This comes after the Premier League giants announced on their official website on Saturday night that they had agreed a deal with Benfica for the Swedish international.

It had been said that an agreement had been reached between the two clubs involved and all that was left to be completed was a medical, international clearance and personal terms.

Lindelof was one of Benfica’s top performers last term, playing 47 league and cup games.

The 22-year-old joined the Portuguese giants from Swedish outfit Vasteras SK in the summer of 2012, and he went on to make 96 appearances in all competitions for the club’s B team.

He then broke into the first team in July 2015, and has been a first choice centre-back for the club ever since, playing 73 league and cup games.

Lindelof has been capped by Sweden on 12 occasions, but he was an unused substitute in his nation’s 1-1 friendly draw with Norway on Tuesday night.
