Leeds United are current favourites to sign young Arsenal striker Chuba Akpom, according to the latest betting odds.
Betting giants Ladbrokes have priced the centre-forward at 7/4 to join Elland Road before the end of the summer transfer window, placing them as firm favourites to secure the Arsenal prodigy.
The Whites have already confirmed Pontus Jansson and Hadi Sacko as new arrivals to the club this summer, but according to current odds it looks as though Akpom could be the third.
Behind the Whites, fellow Championship clubs Hull City and Millwall both sit at 11/4 to secure the 21-year-old’s signature, followed by Brighton at 3/1.
The forward spend half of the 2016/17 season with newly-promoted club Brighton & Hove Albion, where the striker struggled throughout his loan and failed to score any goals during their campaign.
The 21-year-old Arsenal striker joined the north London club in 2013 on a six-year-deal, but the England Under-21 has only made a total of 10 appearances for the Gunners.
Leeds will be looking for new scoring potential for their 2017/18 campaign in the hopes of improving on last season after the squad finished in seventh place.
New manager, Thomas Christiansen, has already put his stamp on the club after completing an overhaul of his backroom staff, and it would be unsurprising if he planned on doing the same to the current squad.
