Everton fans have taken to Twitter to welcome Jordan Pickford to the club.
It was confirmed on Thursday afternoon that the 23-year-old goalkeeper had put pen-to-paper on a five-year deal at Goodison Park, and he arrives for an initial £25million, which could rise to £30million in add ons.
Everton announced the news on their official website and on their official Twitter account.

The 23-year-old shot stopper was one of Sunderland’s top performers last term, making 32 appearances in all competitions, keeping five clean sheets.
The Washington-born goalkeeper joined the Black Cat’s academy at the age of eight, and he broke into the club’s first team in the summer of 2012.
However, a string of loan spells away from the Stadium of Light meant that prior to the start of the 2016-17 season he had only played three times for his boyhood club.
The Goodison Park faithful were excited by the news Pickford had signed and they took to Twitter to show it.

Everton finished seventh in last season’s Premier League, eight points behind Manchester United in sixth, but 15 points clear of Southampton in eighth.
Meanwhile, despite Pickford’s best efforts Sunderland were relegated to the Championship, as they finished rock-bottom of the Premier League.
