Everton fans have taken to Twitter to fume over their club’s start to the 2017-18 Premier League season.

The fixture list was released by the Premier League on on Wednesday morning.

Everton’s nightmare start to the 2017-18 campaign begins with a winnable home match with Stoke City, but after that they face back-to-back away games at Manchester City and Chelsea.

They then face Spurs at home in the fourth round of fixtures, and travel to Old Trafford the following week.

The Goodison Park faithful were understandably annoyed at their tough start to the 2017-18 Premier League campaign, and the fixtures have been described as “disgusting”, “horrendous” and “tough”.

Other key dates for Everton fans are December 9, which sees their side travel to Anfield, while the return fixture will be held on April 7.

One positive for Toffees supporters is their club’s favourable end of season run, which could prove crucial in the fight for the all-important European spots.

Everton’s final five fixtures see them play Swansea, Newcastle, Huddersfield, Southampton and West Ham – which are all winnable games for the Merseysiders.

The Toffees finished seventh in last season’s Premier League, eight points behind Man United in sixth, but 15 ahead of Southampton in eighth.
