Chelsea star Eden Hazard has told fans via Twitter that everything went well with his ankle operation and that he will now come back stronger.
The 26-year-old attacker suffered an injury to his ankle while on international duty with Belgium and the Guardian reported that he had returned to London to undergo surgery on his right ankle.
It was also detailed that the Blues star could miss the beginning of Chelsea’s title defence next season, but it would appear that all went well with the operation with Hazard telling fans on his personal Twitter account on Monday evening that he would now start the road to recovery.

Hazard was once again one of Chelsea’s standout stars last season as he helped the Blues to the Premier League title as well asan FA Cup final.
The 77-time capped Belgium international returned a fine 17 goals and seven assists in 43 matches in all competitions in the last campaign and was named Chelsea’s Player of the Year as well as making it in the PFA Team of the Year for the fourth time in his five seasons in England.
Blues fans will now be hoping that he can make a quick recovery as he is so vital to Antonio Conte’s team.
