Ian Wright has claimed on Twitter he would be happy to see the back of Arsenal ace Alexis Sanchez if the Gunners signed Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski or Chelsea’s Diego Costa.

Former Barcelona attacker Sanchez’s future is in doubt at the Emirates Stadium with only 12 months remaining on his current deal.

The Daily Mail claim Bayern Munich would be in pole position to sign the 28-year-old attacker this summer if he decides to leave north London, as Carlo Ancelotti’s side prepare a huge £350,000-a-week deal for Sanchez.

Gunners legend Wright claimed on his personal Twitter account that he will accept the departure of Sanchez if his former side swap him for Lewandowski or sign Chelsea forward Diego Costa.

Sanchez was in sensational form for the Gunners last season, scoring a huge 30 goals and adding another 19 strikes in assists during his 51 league and cup encounters for Arsene Wenger’s side.

However, he could now be offloaded this summer if he is unwilling to sign a new deal with Arsenal, leaving the north London outfit in desperate need of a high-profile replacement.

Poland international Lewandowski has also enjoyed a prolific season as Bayern held aloft the Bundesliga title for a fifth consecutive time, scoring a massive 43 goals in 47 games.

However, he has a contract at the Alliand Stadium until the summer of 2021. That could see Wenger look to sign Costa instead, if Sanchez does indeed decide to leave.

The Guardian quoted Costa as saying that he had received a text from Chelsea manager Antonio Conte which stated the former Atletico Madrid forward had no future at Stamford Bridge.

A move to Arsenal could be on the cards then, with Wenger likely to be active this summer if the Gunners lose the services of their Chilean superstar.
