Thomas Christiansen must throw his hat into the transfer ring to bring Bristol City left-back Joe Bryan to Leeds in the coming months.

The Mirror claims Celtic are interested in bringing the pocket-sized speed machine north of the border this summer, but face competition from Premier League outfit Burnley and Garry Monk’s Middlesbrough.

The 23-year-old has shone on the left side of defence for the Robins, providing five assists and even finding the back of the net against Aston Villa during his 49 league and cup encounters.

Despite having two years still to run on his current deal at Ashton Gate, Bryan could now be swayed with a move to any of the three of the bigger clubs.

This Is Futbol analyses three reasons why Leeds should join the hunt for Bryan as former APOEL Nicosia manager Christiansen looks to finally push the Whites towards Premier League promotion and end a 13-year long wait in the Football League.
