Adam Rooney

The 29-year-old had an outstanding campaign for SPL side Aberdeen last season.

The striker was the club’s top goalscorer in all competitions as he notched up 20 goals and nine assists.

Although Aderdeen did not reach the Europa League group stages, Rooney demonstrated that he can produce the goods on the European scene as he scored three goals in six matches.

Everton are set to compete in Europe next season and having a player who has already shown that he is not phased by the competition would be invaluable.
