Everton must join a quartet of Premier League clubs in sending scouts to Poland to watch England Under-21 sensation Jacob Murphy shine for his country.

The Daily Mail claim Southampton, Swansea, West Brom and Crystal Palace have all sent spies to the Under-21 European Championships to take note on the Norwich winger ahead of the summer transfer window.

The quartet’s talent spotters will have been impressed with his contribution at the tournament so far after setting up Alfie Mawson’s equaliser against Slovakia in the 2-1 win, before netting against Poland in a 3-0 win.

Murphy, 22, is set to feature in the semi-finals of the competition, but the £7million-rated winger will not know who England go up against until the completion of the group stage on Saturday.

This Is Futbol analyses three reasons why Ronald Koeman’s Everton should be watching the Norwich academy product and looking to barge their way past their Premier League rivals into pole position for his signature.
