Sky Sports have further been able to confirm that the left winger will be having an operation on Monday in London after sustaining the fracture in Tubize.
In addition to that, The Evening Standard have said that no one else was involved with Hazard’s injury, and that he picked up his injury after getting his boot stuck in the turf.
Fans will want Hazard to make a swift recovery as last season he made a vital contribution to Chelsea’s Premier League triumph after netting 16 goals for his club in 36 league appearances, with an additional five assists.

The striker will face a lengthy few weeks aiming to recover for the start of the season, butr Chelsea fans appear to have seen the positive side of his injury by commenting that this could stop a potential move to Real Madrid.
These worries were sparked as rumours this weekend stated he could be making a departure from Stamford Bridge after he said: “Of course I would consider it if Madrid made an offer”.
Hazard’s recovery time is yet to be confirmed, but some of the fans have estimated that he won’t be back for a few months which would mean that he would miss out on the Community Shield match against Arsenal in August.
