Arsenal are set to offer star duo Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil huge new deals which would see them earn close to £300,000-a-week – if the club earn back their Champions League spot, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper claim that both players have rejected £250,000-a-week contract offers, with the two of them set to be out of contract at the end of the upcoming season.

Arsenal are keen to tie the pair down, but the Chilean and German internationals are said to be looking for a deal worth in excess of £300,000-a-week to commit to the club.

In order to attempt to satiate their demands, Arsenal are said to be offering both Sanchez and Ozil a pay rise of up to 20 per cent on their current deals, on the condition that they earn a fourth placed finish and Champions League football next season.

The Gunners only managed a 5th placed finish last season, and as a result saw them miss out on qualifying for Europe’s top competition for the first time in 20 years.

Sanchez is said to be in high demand this summer, with the Daily Star claiming that Manchester City could look to do a swap deal involving Sergio Aguero, while the Mirror report that Bayern Munich are willing to offer the 28-year-old £350,000-a-week in order to secure his services.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is another Gunners star who is out of contract next summer, and it is said that he will receive a similar Champions League bonus if he signs a new deal at the club, with Sky Sports reporting that Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool are all circling for his signature.
